A wide range of sites has been treated since the XiTRACK Project began representing the diversity and adaptability of the technique. All sites have one feature in common, prior to treatment maintenance costs were high and increasing due to the recurrence of track faults. XiTRACK addresses the underlying causes of the failures, not just the symptoms as is often the case with traditional maintenance techniques.
Some of the treated sites are listed to give a flavour of the types of conditions where XiTRACK can help to improve maintenance efficiency, reduce delays and potential penalty charges with the minimum of
disruption.
Each XiTRACK-treated site is performing as expected holding geometry and/or alignment as specified.
The examples given are illustrative only, it should be noted that XiTRACK Treatment is individually designed for use under specific site conditions and will not necessarily be suitable for use otherwise.
